I am a UX Designer and Illustrator. I provide expert design solutions for organizations to elevate their brands and optimize the user experience of their products and services. As a Designer, I created key components for the Arthritis Foundation, designed for Hexagon AB and led the creation of the United Methodist News Service.
UX is the practice of creating experiences that resonate with users in a tangible way. It’s why some of us pay more to shop at Whole Foods instead of Walmart (especially the Walmart in Southeast Atlanta, yikes)!
I believe that people resonate with a good story; be it a journey through Middle Earth or an online banking application. I am passionately pursuing how to tell better stories, regardless of the medium.
Further, I am a published children’s author and illustrator, who enjoys hot yoga, and consuming pixel art.
Arthritis Foundation Website: I redesigned key areas of the Arthritis Foundation website using Google Analytics data and navigational tests to inform information architecture. View Case Study
OneSpring Agency Website: I led the visual design of the OneSpring agency website.
Email Dashboard: I designed the email client Thunderbug to provide users a simple way to discover email with an interface that is both calming and easy to navigate.
Character Illustration: I created a character illustration using minimal color choices with inspiration from classic 8-bit games.
Character Illustration: I created a character illustration of a musician using muted colors and sharp digital ink lines.
Scene Illustration: I developed a character scene inspired by certain Japanese cultural elements.
App Landing Page: I developed a ping pong score-keeping application design with original logo and accompanying flow screens.
